Unless otherwise indicated, visitors access the refuge at Elk Grove Blvd., west of Interstate 5.  Please wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for weather.  Bring binoculars, field guides, and drinking water.  A portable restroom is available.  Call the Stone Lakes refuge information line at (916) 775-4420 for updates, or visit http://www.fws.gov/stonelakes.  

Refuge not currently open to visitors except during special events. Please contact refuge for more information.
