Walk On The Wildside

A free outdoor event sponsored by The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and their partners
When: Saturday, May 20, 2006, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Beach Lake Park, near Freeport (driving map)
What: An outdoor event held annually during National Migratory Bird Week to celebrate the National Wildlife Refuge System and Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge's role in protecting and enhancing Central Valley wildlife and habitats

 

                Special Highlights:

Conservation Fair with educational and environmental demonstrations, exhibits and interactive activities
Live wild animal presentations by Wildthings Inc.
